Edukasi Kesehatan: Pemeriksaan Payudara Sendiri (SADARI) Secara Online Efektif Meningkatkan Pengetahuan dan Sikap Pada Remaja
Abstract
Every year there is an increase in the number of women diagnosed with breast cancer. The incidence of this disease is increasing not only in developed countries but also in developing countries such as Indonesia. Breast cancer can be detected early with breast self examination (BSE). This study aims to determine the effect of BSE examination health education on the level of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents. Pre-experimental with a one group pretest and posttest design was used in this research. The number of samples as many as 32 respondents with simple random sampling technique. Health education was carried out using an online question and answer lecture method and using educational video media. The data collection instrument used a knowledge and attitude questionnaire related to ca-mamae prevention. The results of the validity test using the Pearson product moment test showed that all items had an r value greater than r table (0.361). The results of the reliability test using the Cornbach alpha test were obtained a value of 0.729. The comparative test used is the Wilcoxon nonparametric test. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the level of knowledge "good" about BSE increased to 84.4% and positive attitudes BSE increased to 75%. level of knowledge with p = 0.000 and attitude p = 0.000 in adolescents. The conclusion is that breast self-examination (BSE) health education activities are effective in increasing adolescent knowledge and attitudes regarding breast cancer prevention.
