Abstract

The utilization of Virtual Classroom technology has become an effective solution in addressing the challenges of modern education, especially in the context of distance learning. This technology enables lecturers and students to stay connected and engage in academic interactions without the limitations of space and time. Supported by features that allow two-way communication, assignment submission, assessment, and access to learning materials, the Virtual Classroom helps maintain the continuity of the teaching and learning process. Platforms such as Google Classroom serve as one of the practical implementations of Virtual Classroom technology that enhances the quality of academic interaction between lecturers and students. In addition to supporting online learning activities, this technology also encourages adaptation to the development of innovative teaching methods and fosters student independence in learning. The findings of this study indicate that the use of Virtual Classroom plays an important role in improving the effectiveness of academic communication, student engagement, and the efficiency of learning material delivery. Overall, the implementation of Virtual Classroom technology has proven to make a significant contribution to enhancing academic interaction and strengthening the role of information technology in supporting the sustainability of higher education.
